The Mossos receive the order of the TSJC and begin to monitor fifty judicial buildings

The high Catalan court demanded autonomic police protection "on-site and permanent" of all courts.

The Mossos d'Esquadra received this Wednesday afternoon the order of the High Court of Justice of Catalonia (TSJC) to watch over fifty Catalan judicial buildings. According to sources confirmed by the police, the order has already begun to be carried out and since Wednesday night the requested surveillance has already been applied.

The TSJC on Tuesday demanded that the Mossos protect  "on-site an permanently" all the judicial buildings in Catalonia and to inform the president of the TSJC, Jesús María Barrientos, of the measures adopted, following the attacks of the CDRs.

In fact, the government room of the Catalan high court warned the presidents of provincial hearings and deans of Catalonia to "assess the need to suspend judicial activities", leaving aside those urgent actions and guard, "when for reasons of sanitation can not guarantee normal access to the facilities ".

The court, in addition, regretted in its note "the intolerable attacks that are suffering the judicial facilities, which in Valls (Tarragona) and Cervera (Lleida) have prevented judicial activity", after the CDR on Monday returned to throw manure and trash before a score of courts, in addition to making graffiti and hanging posters.

The TSJC also asked the Prosecutor's Office to act "to purge the criminal responsibilities that may arise from those who have devised, planned, coordinated and executed these attacks on the courts."

The Minister of Justice, Dolores Delgado, also contacted this Tuesday with the Councilor for Justice of the Generalitat de Catalunya, Ester Capella, to ask her to adopt the necessary measures to guarantee the safety of the professionals working in that autonomous community.
