The leaders who maintained the protest action are transferred to the Terrassa hospital.
After 17 and 20 days, the independence prisoners Joaquim Forn, Josep Rull, and Jordi Sànchez and Jordi Turull, have decided to put an end to the hunger strike they were carrying out from the prison of Lledoners.
This was announced by the spokesperson of the prisoners, Pilar Calvo, at a press conference from the headquarters of the Col.legi de Periodistes de Catalunya. The leaders consider that the stated objectives have already been met: awareness and activation of their amparo remedies before the TC and will now be transferred to the Terrassa hospital to recover.
The decision to abandon the hunger strike comes hours after the initiative promoted by the Síndic de Greuges, Rafael Ribó, to which the former presidents of the Jordi Pujol, Pasqual Maragall, José Montilla, Artur Mas and Quim Torra have joined. as well as the ex-presidents of the Parlament Joan Rigol, Ernest Benach, Núria de Gispert and Carme Forcadell.
The request of the presidents was made this Thursday in writing and they tried to convince them to leave the protest because of the health dangers that it entails and because "they have already achieved the objective of removing all the consciences that had to be removed". In this way, the signatories claimed that their fast had succeeded in "removing the boxes of the Constitutional Court."

The letter was signed by all the presidents of the Generalitat of democracy except for Quim Torra, who in an act on Thursday considered as "sensible" the petition at the initiative of the Síndic before the "anguished" situation of the prisoners on hunger strike.
