KEYS OF THE TRIAL CARD 2

Spain has been pioneering among the most advanced countries in the field of publicity and judicial transparency. The publicity of trials, which is included in the Constitution, was strengthened in 2004. The Constitutional Court established, in 2004, that radio and TV broadcasters could have access to trials, as a general rule, under the same conditions of equality as the written press: “..public judiciary hearings are a source of news-mentioned the TC (Tribunal Constitucional) - and the access to such a source is part of the right to freedom as helps the public to have a free opinion". From those rulings of the TC in every Spanish court, ruling out some exceptions, hearings are broadcasted through the media....
