The government does not govern, it just waits for independence

Doctors, nurses, students, professors and civil servants were on strike in Catalonia on Thursday to call for the end of fiscal austerity in the regional government, accused of just being busy, in recent years, with the independence.……."The independence process has been a big screen of smoke but mismanagement and budget cuts are still there," said Rafael Castillo, a 67-year-old pensioner….

The demands of the strikers are multiple: increase of human resources in health and education, lower tuition fees at the University, which are the most expensive in Spain, or the thirteenth-month salary payment, frozen from 2012 to 2014, that the other Spanish regions resumed paying their officials three years ago.
