The secretary of the court of preliminary investigation number 13 of Barcelona, Montserrat del Toro, who testified on Wednesday in the Supreme Court without showing her image on television during the trial of the 1-O, has become the main piece of hunting for pro-independence extremists. Despite the preservation of her image, Moviment Republicà Català (MRC), an extremist pro-independence group, has published her photograph through its Facebook page.

The photo is accompanied by a text that says that the judiciary officer is a "follower of Spanish National Unity, an association in favor of using the Army against the Catalans". It also says that she
"wants to remain anonymous" and, under the photograph, a sarcastic phrase appears: "The images may be protected by copyright".

The bad, however, are the messages that accompany the complaint. "Boycott! Nothing more to say. May life be hell, "says an activist.  The most scandalous, however, is the response of another activist who calls himself Antoni Pau Llobera. Of the unpleasant qualifications he dedicates to the judiciary civil servant, very few could be saved. "We hope with all our heart that you will be split from up to bottom down, fatty and badly fucked Nazi" is one of the few publishable phrases.

The other sentences go beyond the standards of bad taste and enter a field in which they border crime: in short, he, the ‘hyperventilated’ pro-independence beast, comes to explain how he would like that the judicial secretary be violated and wherein by means of "a canesplintered" to finish throwing her "to the shoulder of the road like the vulgar dog shit you are". Manel Acosta was also rude. "She looks like in an American bar", launched into the MRC account. Other activists are forceful but more respectful. "If you're not well in Catalonia, leave. You will find work in many courts outside, do not sacrifice yourself by staying here. It's a pity that you call yourself Montserrat, more Catalan cannot be the name", says Maria Cinta Juan.

Crime alert

In the early afternoon, a reader warned: "You have just committed a crime: to publicize the physical aspect of a witness in a trial whose appearance has not been revealed. You will be responsible for the
aggressions, insults and threats she receives", warned Sebastián Madrigal, to whom Pietat Taberner sarcastically responded: "Since people do not know her, they will see her in the photo and will be able to say hello to her".

The three offers to Montserrat del Toro to leave the Conselleria de Economía on 20-S

Del Toro was the judicial secretary who accompanied the agents of the Civil Guard to the headquarters of the Vice-presidency of the Generalitat on September 21, 2017 and who, following the call of the Catalan National Assembly (ANC) and Òmnium Cultural, was locked up throughout the day and part of the night at the seat of the Govern. In the end, she was evacuated after 12 midnight by way of the terrace of the building to a nearby theater, where she was able to exit camouflaged among the actors of the show.

The devastating report she wrote after the event served to back up the accusation against Jordi Sànchez and Jordi Cuixart, 'the Jordis', who were then the top leaders of the two pro-independence entities that called on citizens to concentrate in front of the Vice Presidency to prevent the judicial search. As she related in the trial, that day she suffered "stress, anxiety and, in the end, fear". As a result of this affair, Del Toro took the sickness leave a few days later.

She was not the only one threatened. Theex-delegate of the Government in Catalonia Enric Millo also receives all kinds of expletives, including "bastard", "son of the great whore" or "turncoat". "The most disgusting of all is that his name is Enric, while he would have to be called Enrique or directly subnormal", writes Anna Cas. And Lidia Masferrer adds: "You're a fucking pig. I hope you die alone and far from this land, that does not deserve a shit like you". Griselda Fontseré, for her part, writes: "And this gentleman will be able to go out to the street? Because if I find him, I spit in his face".

The revenge of the CUP

The tension, then, accumulates in the Catalan streets. The proximity of the elections, in addition to the trial, has increased the political tension. And the 8-M vindication day too. The CUP, and especially its hard core, Endavant, took advantage to profit from the situation. Its intention is to take control of the feminist day to reconvert it into a day of pro-independence as well as feminist
assertion.

For this, Endavant attacked during the dawn of this Tuesday the headquarters of various companies accusing them of being "responsible for the impoverishment of working women". These companies are, paradoxically, firms that stood firmly against the pro-independence interests or that never took into account the sovereignty 'recommendations'. Among them are Mercadona, Inditex, Banco Santander or Clarel.

For the 'hard' of the CUP, the graffiti and the leaflets hanging in shops or headquarters of these companies are justified in the fact that they "perpetuate structural violence against women workers
and contribute to feminize poverty. We have done this action [making graffiti and hanging posters] in the framework of the March 8 feminist general strike".

Endavant accuses the target companies of their protests of being subjected to "the interests of capital" and of benefiting "from the invisible work of women of the working class", assuring that "they cause us to have worse material conditions of life to guarantee the survival of the capitalist system: lower wages, employmentdiscrimination, aggressions, unfair dismissals, wage gap, reduced working hours, lack of reconciliation of reproductive tasks with productive tasks, etc."

The protest actions took place in several cities of Catalonia, among them Barcelona, Girona, Lleida, Sant Feliu de Llobregat or El Vendrell.
