The Foreign Minister, Josep Borrell, has warned on Wednesday of the scope of the independence speech and has advocated to curb its credibility abroad. Irene Lozano, whose portfolio has as its main mission to defend Spanish reputation abroad, has also recently traveled to Geneva, Brussels and London to reinforce the message that Spain is a credible country endowed with solid and democratic institutions.
