2017 REPORT Reporters Without Borders denounces the "black months" for the press in Catalonia by the 'procés'

Reporters Without Borders (RSF) has denounced on Thursday the "black months" that freedom of press experienced in Catalonia at the end of 2017. "The last three months of 2017 are already among the darkest in democratic history", since journalists lived "situations as problematic as intolerable", highlights the entity in its annual report, presented Thursday at the International Press Center of Madrid. In this document, RSF again denounces the "lynching" suffered by the director and the deputy director of EL PERIÓDICO, Enric Hernàndez and Luis Mauri, on account of the information published in this newspaper about the CIA warning of a possible attack on Barcelona.
