«It is not possible to move forward, if you do not have Europe as a federal destination» Interview with Joan Coscubiela




Some scholars argue that the State of Autonomies is a federal model. What is your opinion of this? Spain is not a federal state. Another thing is that it has very important levels of political decentralization, in some cases similar to those of some federal countries. But a federal state is more than an element of decentralization. It is a way of articulating the State in which there are political units that recognize each other, but that also have a common space.
